    Hi all,
I am going for this one.
This F-16 will be finished in a RNLAF livery depicting the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the 322nd Squadron back in 2003.

Good choice Alfred! It will make a good companion to my tail bird also 😉
Is that a dummy sidewinder ?

    Thanks.
Indeed, doesn’t look like a real sidewinder. @holzhamer

    Hello Polly! Welcome aboard Alfred.

I do think it is called a smokewinder - a piece of equipment to make smoke at airshows, but please correct me if I am wrong.

Good choice of schemes, Alfred. Looking forward to your build progress.
Here’s a photo from my recent posting of my 322 Sqn F-16, celebrating the ‘40th Anniversary of the 40th Anniversary’.

    Nice one George! @georgeswork
Hope mine will turn out just as nice as yours. Love the stand. Custom made I guess?

    Hi all,

Here’s my first update on the build of my Polly Grey viper.
The kit is rather mediocre, but I’ll try to make most of it though.
It’s the italeri 2786, which I already had on the shelf for quite some time.
The setup of this group build was a nice opportunity to make start with the F-16.

It will come as no surprise that, as with almost every aircraft kit, the construction starts with the cockpit tub and ejection seat.
Not very much detail over here, but with the addition of seat belts made out of masking tape and some PE leftovers I think the result is quite acceptable.
Thanks for watching and happy building!

That will be the 1993 version in 1/48 updated in 2018 then. Going to be interesting how it holds up to todays kits.

The result of the cockpit is much more than acceptable, Alfred @alfred
This looks nicely detailed and realistic.

@alfred, I just saw that Syhard Decal has a pair of Resin Smokewinders in 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32. So far I only spotted them in Luchtvaart Hobby Shop - suppose it is in the same country as you, if not even your LHS 🙂
