To my knowledge, all Spitfire seats were red/rust coloured bakelite. There is one flying Seafire, sadly damaged in a wheels up landing some time back. Maybe you could find a cockpit shot? A good site for Spitfire info is the "Spitfire Site" who would have thought it would be called that! 🙂 . They have some good reference material. Ah! The Spitfire, what can one say? Outrageously beautiful, and flies as good as it looks! Still need to get going on my 1/32 Tamia MkIX, when the time/motivation is right. What a kit.
