A must for Spitfire fans: http://www.spitfireinmyworkshop.net/ - check out this guy! I've never seen modeling like it. Amazing! Scratch built 1/5th scale models of Spitfre Mk 1 & P-51D Mustang. His current project is a Spitfire Mk IX. There are lots of in progress shots of his builds which defy my limited powers of description. Take a look and weep at the incredible skills this guy possesses.
Crazy! If he can do that, you have to wonder, why doesn't he go the whole hog and build a real 1/1 scale one!
