Are the Tomcatters the senior Navy VF, or the Bounty Hunters? Seems to me that Felix the cat was in the Thirties, whereas VF 2 was on the Langley with VE-8s. Just a thought...
I could be wrong but I've always thought VF-11 was the oldest,They always said they were in my day, although not being up on any deactivations of late it could be. Who evers left are all VFA's now. Sorry for slow response.
