Update: Last night Saturday 10th, our front window was kicked in.
Living in a first floor flat you would not expect that.
So it now looks like I am going to be pushed to finish this build by dead line .
Things would not be so bad but the modelling bench is in that bay window.
Luckily nothing of the kit was damaged but the clearing up and repairs could take a few days knowing our luck.
The good news is that they caught the "person".
    Will update when ready.

    Cheers Neil.
The build is second, getting things back to norm is first.
Never mind, on wards and I will finish it.
Just will be a bit more busier that is all.
I will post some pics of the window later once Rose and I get chance to chill out.
    Simon.

Cheers Seamus, they got him and charged him with criminal damage.
Apparently he does not anything about it, high on drink and drugs!
    Anyhow a few pics.
The first shows our window on the left and the window he came out of on the right.

The second shows how he went before falling

    This shows where he fell.

Could be worse, it could of been the middle of winter.

Wow Simes ,your building is terrific , is it Victorian ? if I had to guess I would say late 1800's,so did the guy actually break in ,I thought he only smashed the window, the most inportant thing is that you and Rosie are O.K.
All the best you two ,N.

Glad to hear you did not suffer anything besides property damage.
    Were you home?
Over here when they break in not being home is for the best.
Hope things return to normal soon.

Simon I'm happy that you and your family were not harmed. Was this drunken fool actually trying to break in or did he think he was "Spider-Man". Whatever his "excuse", I'm glad he was caught and charged, I hope the damage is repaired soon and you can get your life back to normal.

    Quick update.

The contractors are coming tomorrow to measure up and fit a new window, or at least measure up.

Both Rose and I are both OK, Rose has got a black belt in origami!

No when this over and things are back to normal I will be glad.

I have had a few ideas while looking at the bench from a different angle so to speak but more after that is done.

As for the culprit, he is due in court later this month on 3 charges of criminal damage.

And yes Neil, these buildings are late Victorian era.

We think that during WW2 our flats were base for the French/Canadian French Navy as heir Offices got bombed in the dock yard.
