Looking good, Simon. Never used oil colors for weathering, how do you work with them?

Thanks Bernd, I hope the PM helped in any way.

    Anyhow, on with the show.
Starting with the bombs and droptank.
Both were given a wash of burnt sienna and then ochre yellow.

    The bombs a bit closer.

The wheels were given a similar treatment.

    The roughness was washed off.
Onto the main body so to speak
The undersides were tackled in a front direction.
Using dots of black and ultramarine oils and a dampened brush.

The upper sides were done similar.

Hope to get some more tonight if poss.

    All comments welcome.

    Simon.

Looking good. The wash really looks great on the bombs - nice subtle weathered look.

Simon, nice job on the wash on the bombs and droptank. Coming together nicely.

OK folks, it has been a couple of weeks so here is an up date.
Weathering was completed and then sealed under a coat of satin varnish.

The sway bars were added to the droptank.

The rest of the bits were gathered and dry fitted.

Also, the U/C and other bits added to the undersides.

I hope tomorrow to have on her legs and maybe posted in Headlines, at last.

    All comments welcome.

Cheers Craig, this build has dragged along but she is nearly done.
She may not be in headlines until Sunday now.
Work and meetings have cropped up.
But I have added some pics of her on her legs.

The canopy and windscreen were placed on there for pics.
    Until then.

    All comments welcome.

Looking great! (although looks kinda like a mouse without that huge powerplant hanging off the front end!)
