You finally got perfection on the canopy framing paint work, Allan. This is going to be a great build. BTW, your previous RNLAF Alouette looks fantastic. The colors are very striking.

Wow @kalamazoo - Im honestly astounded at this. I built this a few months ago and nearly gave up because of the canopy. The fit was aweful and every time I'd get one side down then try the other side it would pop off, Mine has massive gaps all over.
I'm really amazed and impressed on how well yours turned out. amazing work.

Thank you, John, Spiros and Anthony, they are a tricky canopy and I think the quality varies from kit to kit, I have a couple more to build, ---------
still working on the paint and details with this.

I remember getting one started more than 30 years ago, and I made a "hot-pull" form where I filled and sanded the original and used it as a template for a heat-stretched piece of clear. I never finished it, but it would be great if we could get a vac-form AM part for it.

Thanks Erik, a vac form piece would be good, ---------
some more paint on, 37875 and 17925 with a bit of c**p that needs sanding out.

Apart from the small dots the finish looks great on this coat, getting closer to the well-known finish you create on your builds.
