Wow, Somebody has had a busy weekend. I don't know how you get so much done so quickly. I feel like the tortoise, while you are the hare! It really is coming alive, and looks like you have made the most of an old kit. I can't wait to see when you have it fully unwrapped and finished!

    Amazing, Spiros @fiveten.
    Major steps last weekend.
She looks already great in the Greek livery so close to the finish line.

The exhaust gases staining is quite prominent at all Hueys after some hours of operation, so I happily applied some of it...

I also painted on the navigation lights - believe it or not, they had six (!), three at each side, at least during their early years, as later on the tail ones seemed to have been deleted - and the top anti-collision one. Finally, the roof mounted "knife" style VHF aerial was painted black and attached (not shown at pics).

    Next is final coat.

    Thanks for stopping by!

Staining looks very nice, Spiros @fiveten
That is a lot of navigation lights, no idea why they applied so many of them.
Looking forward to your final step.

Who knows why? The only possible answer is for them to be visible from different angles, also when carrying machine guns which would protrude to the sides etc..
Aren't all these details nice, that are discovered through modeling?

Thanks for the explenation, Spiros @fiveten.
Because of their speed it would be good to become more visible as well I guess.
    Coating come on nicely.

    Thanks my friend @johnb!
Indeed, becoming more visible in relation to their speed is also a viable explanation!
