Yesterday I have managed to track down and fix the problem with emojis in Group postings, whereupon using emoji characters would cause the post to fail, consequently breaking the topic reply counter, and after a while also its pagination.
This was a long-standing issue with the forums, and one that had proven difficult to track down. Once I received a tip from the users that the problem seemed to be related to using emojis (see another topic in this group), the solution turned out to be pretty simple. . Thanks!
I believe that this fix will also help us get rid of the dreaded "Can't add replies to a topic" issue with long topics. https://imodeler.com/groups/help-to-improve-imodeler/forum/topic/cant-add-replies-to-my-topic/ https://imodeler.com/groups/help-to-improve-imodeler/forum/topic/unable-to-add-comment/
Feel free to give it a try and let me know if you see any outstanding problems with group forums.
Just used it and works great, my friend @techsupport! https://imodeler.com/groups/motorcycles-854753595/forum/topic/heller-1-8-honda-750-four/?topic_page=8&num=15#post-topic-reply Thanks for the continuous effort and constant improvement!
@techsupport, thank you very much for looking into this and solving it, Martin. Maybe I missed it, but is there an overview of all the emojis that can be used and what code to use.
@johnb. The thing with emojis is that they're just like normal characters, so you "type" them from your device.

...and for Windows 10 & Windows 11 users, an instruction can be found here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/windows-keyboard-tips-and-tricks-588e0b72-0fff-6d3f-aeee-6e5116097942#ID0EBD=Windows_11
@techsupport, thanks for the feedback. I thought you still needed to have a character combination to get an emoji.
From a phone it is indeed an easy option. For the Windows machines I was not aware on how to achieve that, thanks for the tip. Since I'm using a chromebook as well, I just figured out it can be done quite easily as well:
