Indeed very close to the finish line, Tolga. @tolgaul
And it will be an absolute winner.
How did you get that canopy so perfectly painted, you created masks yourself?

Lovely work, Tolga... I like the 'mixed' colour scheme a lot, with the contrast between the splinter scheme and the sand yellow.

    Regards,

    Paul

Another Tolga stunner rounds the final turn and roars toward the finish line.

Tolga, @tolgaul, that is looking really beautiful. I love the mixture of schemes. I too am spurred to look at doing this in 1/48th scale. Do you or anyone following this blog know if there is a 1/48 decal sheet for it? Also, do you have any information as to what actually happened? Looking at the two pictures you supplied, it looks like it attempted an emergency wheels down landing. Again, really beautiful work as usual Tolga, I always enjoy your excellent work.

    Thanks Walt. @luftwaffe-birdman

I have no detailed information about this E7, but all I know is that this Emil was damaged by force landing and then abandoned in Libya 1942.

Here are some links for decals in 1/48 scale. Hope this helps.

Thanks Tolga, @tolgaul I really appreciate the info. I may just have to see about trying to locate one of those two sheets over here in the US. I would love to build it in a little vignette with it just crashed. I like the 109 alot, but also like it crashed and there are plenty of examples of it in pictures.

Great paint-work on this 109, Tolga (@tolgaul). The paint is perfectly weathered.

And a number one finish it is, Tolga @tolgaul
    Fantastic scheme and beautiful weathering.
The exhaust stains look very realistic.
