    Thanks John (@johnb),
I couldn't find any pictures showing how the wiring was routed on the aircraft, so this is my best guess.

    Glazing masked, ready for painting.

I masked the open hatches from the inside and pierced them with dressmaker pins with the spherical heads so that I can pull the masks out. I added the flags after one pin fell inside the cockpit.
Fortunately, that was before I had added the tailcone, so it came out.

I’ve painted the cockpit colour over the glazing.
You can see the visible join between the upper and lower glazing parts that will have to be filled.
I couldn’t tell if there was a problem until I painted the clear parts.

    The underside join is good.

Sometimes a paint sessions reveals more than you would wish, Michael @michaelt
    Seems to be repairable though.

Always good to have such issue revealed at stages where no harm is done, my friend @michaelt!

I painted the aircraft all over black primer and then painted the underside RLM 65 Light Blue.
