    my dad and I found this out only a few years ago...when the mast was mounted on the Erla canopy, the antenna wire led through the mast into the canopy and was connected with the canopy locking system. The wire was only tensioned when the pilot locked the canopy, or else he couldnĀ“t have opened the canopy completely.

    Reinhard @grimreaper, do you use a mask to apply the wing leading edge scallop pattern, or incredibly fine use of your airbrush? If the latter, do you spray them from the bottom up or top down?
