    Very realistic expressions indeed, Gary.
Looking towards the moment you will join the head to the body.

Thanks, All. Would love to take credit for the heads but those are straight out of the box from Hornet. They have a great selection of various heads and are a vast improvement over the Dragon parts.

    Started figure painting:

One of a few reference pics:

    Paints used:
Vallejo was used for the pants. I used two different shades for contrast between the two figs. Keeps things interesting, visually.
Scalecolor Artisit acrylic paint used for smock, gloves and web/belt. My first time using Scalecolor and so far very pleased...very smooth and great coverage. Both brands thinned with distilled H2O as needed.

Base coats added followed with a diluted dark wash.
Shadows, highlights, details and gear to follow.

This is serious painting, Gary @gwskat
    Looks fantastic.
What kind of brush did you use to get this done?

    Thanks, John!
For my figure painting I use Winsor & Newton, Series 7 Brushes. Sizes 2 thru 000. I only use these particular brushes for fig painting with acrylics. These brushes are not cheap but are well worth the cost...definitely "paying for what you get" and the "right tool for the job"
