    Very nice, Ronnie @skyraider3d.
Agree with Spiros @fiveten to leave it as is.

No progress on the Fw 190 itself due to work, but I was filling some holes in the bathroom wall this weekend and figured that wall filler could actually work really well to make a concrete diorama base. It dries like stone and with a hair dryer it's dry within minutes. So one hour later I had this. The base is from a 1/48 Dragon Bachem Natter kit.

Cheers guys! Little word of warning: the wall filler seems to contain glass powder and now it's fully dry there is a subtle glitter to the base. I will spray matt varnish and if this doesn't solve it I'll repaint. Either way, I like the texture a lot and it's quick and dead easy to work with, so next time I'll just mix in some grey paint with the filler mix.

During the Christmas break I managed to have my very first go at weathering with oils. I hope you like the result.
The cowl ring wasn't attached to the model and semi-intentionally forgotten, so you can see the contrast with the oil staining there.

Great work on the oil weathering, Ronnie @skyraider3d
The difference with the cowl is clearly visible.

The "oil-weathering" looks amazing, my friend @skyraider3d!

At last, it is done! Took way too long and it's a bit of a 3-footer (wing leading edges split in the final stages of construction and such things..) but it'll have to do. On with the next one!

An overall wonderful result, my friend @skyraider3d! And an equally wonderful build thread!
The model is definitely NOT a 3-footer.
Congratulations and looking forward to your next one!

This one looks way better than a 3-footer, Ronnie @skyraider3d
Looks really great and this torpedo gives it even a more interesting look.
