Greetings all. Picked this little bird up on eBay today. Will build the aircraft on the box art. First Italian aircraft!

Impressed with the box contents not least because of the really nice ‘photographic reference manual’ - some history, technical drawings, a walk around and some colour schemes.

Happy to give it a go!

Italeri does indeed have some nice manuals now and then - I shall be strapped in!

    Great chosen kit, Paul @yellow10
Looking forward to this one, especially how you will apply that difficult scheme.

Thanks @fiveten I’m finding 1/48 fiddly after having been building the Kotare spit cockpit! It’s a bit messy to be honest.

Here is the assembly as a tub. The fit is average.

And now mostly hidden away. Next up a fair bit of filling and sanding!

Wonderful cockpit, my friend @yellow10! Indeed, well hidden inside the Falco, but we know this gem of a cockpit is there.
    Looking forward to your progress!

Excellent work on the interior, Paul @yellow10
Always a pity to hide all those details, as said by Spiros @fiveten, we know its there.

Paul, it is very interesting to see your definition of a bit messy, especially when comparing to my "a bit messy" factor on my own builds 🙂
Anyway, it will be quite visible through the open top after all, and looks very nice on my screen!

Thanks for the encouragement, gents. I did a little more on the engine. Again, touch ups and weathering required!

This looks very promissing, Paul @yellow10
    Nice detailing on the engine.
