Coincidence that I've just ordered this sheet from Hannants in the UK, so I'll definitely join this one. Had a long exchange of eMails with Jerry many years ago not-long after he started Eagle Cals - very open and generous with his time and insight.

Great GB, Tom, looking forward to being a part of it - just need to get my paws on a kit now - don't have any Fw190's in the stash ATM.

    All the best from NZ.

Some good choices there Ian, but hands down the green 2 is the most unusual. Looking forward to see it build

Get the Eduard Fw-190A-2 - all the new kits are wonderful. Treat yourself!

yep definitely 'Green 2' for me, Pedro.

I can get the old Tamiya A-3 'over the counter' here for roughly the same as y'all in the civilised world pay for it, the Eduard kit I know is fantastic, however with postage down here to Middle Earth you can add around 75% to the cost... not willing to pay that no matter how brilliant it is.

That's a good argument. Do get the corrected landing gear - the leg is too short and the wheels are too small in the Tamiya kit.

I'd forgotten about that ! - Good call, Tom.

    Sort of a 'non-update':
The NZ distributor for Eduard contacted me yesterday - the shipment has arrived and the 190A-8 That I ordered is on its' way - In time, I'll order some Eagle Cals for it, would love to do the Schlange-Schwarm scheme...

Intended to build it with the pilot in-place, but the figure simply doesn't fit in the cramped Fw190 'pit, must've been a generic piece leftover from the 109E kits.

Nice start, my friend @ij001! Interesting that the pilot won't fit.

@ij001 - the "Schlangenschwarm" decals do look good on a 190A-8. You're going to really like the kit.

If you have a "parted out" ex-Trimater then DML then everyone e lse Fw-109A, the landing gear in that kit is the right size and you can easily mate it to the Tamiya kit.

Looking forward to this build, Ian @ij001
Still looking for a great 190A kit, so maybe you can convince me to have one of these.
