This old chestnut is a kit I have had for many years. I believe I purchased it shortly after I got back into the hobby again during the mid 1990's. I have been tempted to build this one on many occasions because it is SO simple ! There are not many parts in the box, and what is there is crude and basic, a lot like me.

I knew that if I didn't start a build journal for it now in the last few hours before the cut off date, that I would be kicking myself where I sit down at later for not doing so when I had the chance.

I'm probably going to be doing some scratch building on this one to make improvements. Chances are I will not go overboard with it though. I'll be posting updates as they happen.

As always, comments are encouraged. Thanks !

If you have a Sabre canopy in the spare parts box, that can be reshaped into something more accurate than the too-small canopy this kit has. It's really an F2H-1 dimensionally.

Crude and basic but I'm sure you will treat her with care, Louis @lgardner
