    Had an unschduled QC audit..

    Verdict: 1. Acceptable quality (barely)

    1. Behind schedule...
      So...

Cockpit was done (almost nothing can be seen anyway0 and...

Fuselage joined, wings and tailplane attached.
Fit was good - not perfect.
I glued some reinforcements at the fuselage innards, because its quite big and...you never know.
The basic lovely shape of the Dakota emerged...

Those dreaded pop-up inspections! Happy it went well, and got you moving down the right track 🙂

Looking the part by now @fiveten - unmistakable C-47 shape!

Engines/nacelles integration completed (sans oil cooler faces)
Drilled the two exhausts to look realistic.

    Finished stage 1 sanding.

A bit of putty will be needed here and there, but generally fit was very good.
    All the best!

Yes, @airbum, going green! Pity that green will be grey, after the tube is empty, as Squadron decided to grey the green!

Hi Sprios. Nice process and progress. Thank you so much for sharing How to go about it on this great model.
It all takes patience and your work is inspiring. I am waiting for the time to have for a multi day effort to finishing the Lockheed Orion. Getting the varnish and decals topside, then Turning her over and the same below with landing gear and ordinance.
Large planes Are my favorite . Like the motorcycle I love , twins rule !
