Congratulations my friend @fxrob for creating such a great GB!

    Here is my entry...

...the well known now old tooling Tamiya 1/48! Spitfire Mk.I. Had bought this kit in 2001 upon reentering the hobby and always wanted to build it. Well, here is the chance!

If I'm not mistaken, it is reported that the fuselage is tad short? I'm ok with that.

    Here are the kit contents...

Will be finished as the box art. Decals are yellowed, let's see how the yellowness will show through the camo 😁.

    More to come!

Hey Spiros @fiveten, a fantastic entry! One cannot have enough Spits. Thank you for participating - are you worried about the decals?

Thanks my friend @gwskat! It's a Tamiya Spit! What you see is the result of having thrown some glue in the box and having shaken it 😊

Thanks my friend @fxrob! I am thinking of using the decals "as is", hoping their yellowness will vanish once applied on the dark green, dark earth and underside sky...
On second thought, I might tape them on the insides of a window facing strong sun for a week.

This is an excellent choice ! I have built several of these, and just like you said, they practically fall together. They may be a tad bit short on the fuselage, but I didn't let that bother me either. This is an excellent building model, and I can't wait to see you work your magic on it.

By the looks of things, you will have it painted and decaled in a few more hours... 😉

    Well done my friend !

That's a great entry and ditto start, Spiros @fiveten
Those early Spitfires were the most beautiful ones to my opinion.

You are moving really fast on this one, Spiros (@fiveten). You will be done before I have a chance to even select mine.
