Since I finished the 84 Space Marines about a week ago, I've been a bit busy with company visiting as well as prepping for the new school semester beginning on the 21st. In the last couple days I've had some time to get back to the Word Bearers.

Awesome looks, my friend @brithebuilder!
@fiveten - Thanks Spiros!
Added details... this guy is almost complete. Just mud on the base and flames at the end of the whip. I'm hoping the symbols on the back of the wings look like 'angry' scars.

Beautiful sculptures and excellent paintwork, Brian @brithebuilder
@johnb - Thanks John. Games Workshop does have some really cool sculpts. All of the different Warhammer variants make for some very cool creatures in addition to amazing space marines.
I think, with the big bases, I'm going to do a basic wood glue and sand coating and then paint it. It's just too expensive to do the big ones with AK Muddy Ground. The red eyes are Tamiya Clear Red over Vallejo Gloss White.

2nd Beastie should be done, sans the sands of the base! LOL

Beautiful progress, Brian @brithebuilder Your painting skills are amazing, the flame color gradients for example. Very nice.
Excellent progress and fantastic skills, my friend @brithebuilder!
@johnb - Thanks John, I appreciate it. I am quite proud of how the flames turned out. Probably my best flames so far. @fiveten - Thanks Spiros! I'm very happy so far with how these guys are turning out.
Progress on the 2nd variant of a Bloodthirster Daemon!

Looks magnificent (and waaaaay scary!) my friend @brithebuilder!
Fantastic work as usual, @brithebuilder, I wouldn’t be able to sleep after seeing these, really scary.
