Started the Laverda tonight, first assembled the wheels...
..and the fork bottoms. I then decided to join the frame halves, where the warping was a real sorry saga. Here are the frame halves joined at the neck...

With the ultra hard and brittle plastic discouraging me even further, I took a deep breath and clamped the neck, while I used electrical wire at the rear, twisting it until the two tubes met and then applied water thin glue, followed by a coat of liquefied styrene at the invisible side of the tubes, in order to add some much needed extra strength to the thin and brittle joined tube that essentially bears all stress imposed by the force closed frame halves...
Let's hope it will hold...
