Nice work on the chain, @johnb, I like the gold effect, and roughing up the tyres adds to the realism. I usually find it’s a bit of a wrestling match to get the rear tyre on the wheel, maybe I haven’t found the easy to do it.

@chinesegeorge, thanks a lot, George. Also for the warning on getting the tyre on. I'm still in doubt if I should paint the rim or leave it nicely shiney black as it is.

Wow @Johnb - you are doing an incredible job on this. You are definitely doing this Suzuki justice, can't believe this is your first bike build.

@anthonyricco, thank you, Anthony. Lots of credits go to Tamiya for their engineering on this kit. All fits quite nice up till now.

Yes the kits are nice but you do need some skills to get them to look like you have. Nice work.

Preperations for the rear disk brake done but it needs some clear improvements. The ventilation holes definitely need to be drilled to give it more realism.

You’re right, @johnb, drilling out those holes makes a lot of difference.

@chinesegeorge, @brithebuilder, @fiveten, thanks a lot. Drilling will be done, luckily the molding has them predefined very well, so should be a fairly simple process.

Cooling holes of the disk brake have been drilled using a 0.4mm drill.

Painting the different elements and mounting it on the rear tyre looks like this.

And now together with the caliper, no glue is needed since this will make the wheel able to rotate.

Looks great @johnb. Drilling all those holes took a minute!

@brithebuilder, thanks, Brian. Let's say three per minute.
