If time permits, I would really like to build this one for the GB too...
    Major Eagleston and his P-47D.

I have everything to do it using a Tamiya 1/48 scale T-bolt. The decals I have are made by Super Scale International.

I've never built a Tamiya 1/48 scale T-bolt. They say they go together very nice.

Now I have almost talked myself into doing one, time permitting.

Louis, what's the number on that Superscale Eagleston decal sheet for his P-47? I've wanted to do that one since the Hawk P-47.

I'll post the number for the decals in a little while. I have a few chores to get done before I can do this.

I'm actually thinking about building this one now. Once I get you the decal sheet part number, why don't you get a set and we can both build one ? That would really be cool.

We could coach each other along the way, and warn if any problems came up. I have some research handy on the colors used by Republic on the P-47's should you decide to join us.

Very cool ! Is it 1/48 or 1/72 scale ?

I have the decals to build one in 1/48 scale and was planning on building it up for this GB.

Using the old Monogram B-24 J kit

Thanks, great idea! I have a couple of P-47s (whew! almost said Jugs-close one!) I can remember when micro/super decals were in the 10s and 20s!

I have this 1/48 Stuka in the stash...

It would be another good candidate.

I was online an ran across these airline planes that are brightly painted. Any of these would be a great choice for the nose art Group Build.

There are many other brightly colored airliners that would really be cool if someone would build up a few.

Wow Louis - it'd be a brave man to take those airliners on! They look fantastic! The QANTAS plane is especially pretty!

Jaime - how do you want the 'reveal' to go? My Mustang is done - are we waiting until the end or posting as we go?
