Looking more homogeneous after sanding, still some work needed (around the windows and elsewhere)...

    The canopy is ill fitting...

, so I will depart from my lifetime habit of attaching it at later stages and attach beforehand...🤨😄
    Thanks for stopping by!

Habits are like rules, Spiros @fiveten, sometimes you have to break them. This will be a beauty when it’s finished.

    Nothing like a hot bath. . . . .

Fingers crossed for a happy outcome of the corrective measures.

Mmmm, that fit is not even close, Spiros @fiveten
For sure you will get that fixed.

    Thanks my friends @chinesegeorge, @airbum and @johnb!

I haven't seen a canopy that ill-fitting for a while, Spiros (@fiveten). For sure this will need to be dealt with now. This old plastic can be really brittle, so be careful with the hot bath. Good luck!

This should get it done, Spiros @fiveten.
Exactly the same points of attention as on my DC6, although the fitting issue with the canopy was not there.

My transparent sprue had been possibly removed from the mold before being sufficiently cool, my friend @johnb.

    And some sanding. . . .

Now, where did I hide my DC-4?

It would be wonderful to enter your DC-4, my friend @airbum!

Still not too happy with the seams (the plastic on this kit easily exhibits "pitting"), so here goes another filling session...
