1/48 Airfix P-51k/MK IV

    As I wait for the paint to dry on the USSR B-25J that I've been working on, I started to play around with the Airfix Mustang that I have in my stash. I've found parts of the kit quite nice but there was some serious misalignment or warping on the radiator scoop assembly that resulted in some bad gaps. . . not sure if it was my own error or an issue with the kit. Nothing that some puttying and styrene cant fix! Here is the current progress so far. . .

    You might want to put the ailerons in "neutral". Unless it's in for maintenance and the controls have been disengaged, ailerons never go both down. FWIW
