saw on the Airfix kit and plans in the SAM Publications Griffon Spitfire book, that the XIV had no lights in the underwings, so my dad overpainted them
but the XIV had a light on the belly which Academy missed, drilled one out

Looks great, Reinhard (@grimreaper). I really like the looks of these later Spitfires, especially in aluminum. I have been thinking about trying the Xtreme Metal on a future model. It looks like it worked really well.
