    Time for a classic two-mot.

To avoid the usual silver, olive and black schemes, my dad and I decided to go for a more colourful Latin American one.

Although the Chilean Invaders were officially retired in March 1973, "840" and "846" were reactivated in September 1973 due to the military coup and were used for surveillance and patrol flights over the whole country.

Gonna use one of the new ICM kits with Vespa Model Kits decals. The latter ones are from Lima/Peru, printed by Fantasy Printshop in the UK.

cockpit tub done and fuselage closed, Eduard seatbelts used
kit has full interior, only paint and do what can be seen through the canopies

this kit doesn´t come with the closed ventral turret panel, but luckily the ICM Invader kits are modular and the A-26C kit in our stash includes even two of the closed panel parts

The plastic sheet fills up the hole nicely.

don´t know how the two-piece 8-gun nose fits, but the one-piece 6-gun nose needs some work...

Invaders always look intimidating, especially with the gun-nose, Reinhard (@grimreaper). I am old enough that I remember the USAF was still flying these in Vietnam when I went to pilot training. Looking forward to your build.
