Very convincing addition, Spiros (@fiveten). A layer of paint and you won't know that it wasn't molded with the kit.

Light gray applied, which revealed a number of blemishes to be fixed 🥴...

A uniform color reveals small imperfections quickly, Spiros @fiveten
    To me, all looks good.

I am always amazed that just putting a layer of primer or light paint on a model pulls everything together and makes it look like a coherent model. Looking good, Spiros (@fiveten).

This one almost slipped under my radar. I was lucky to catch it before you got it done. You build models so fast... in the blink of an eye you have completed three steps, where most of us would still be cutting the parts off the trees !

This is meant to be a compliment, and not everyone can do this. You have a gift and a lot of talent.

I'm going to repeat what has been stated before. You are doing a wonderful job here. The paint does indeed draw attention to blemishes. It's always better to find them early than to discover them as you are painting the final coats.

Your scratch built parachute drogue looks great too.

Your F-16 pilot friend will be pleased with the outcome. QC1 and QC2 are keeping things on track for you. We both have deadlines coming up soon.

My B-25 will need to be finished so I can post it on April 8th. Your deadline is even closer... but I have no doubts you will complete your mission, and reward your friend with a remarkable model.

I look forward to your next installment.

    Take care my friend.

Thanks my friend @johnb,, @,gblair and @lgardner! Indeed, gray paint makes the model mor coherent together with revealing areas that need attention. Deadlines are really interesting between modeling and me: sometimes I am ahead of schedule and finish well before, sometimes I THINK I am ahead and find myself rushing as the deadline comes close 🤭.

That's why I don't do deadlines any more, Spiros (@fiveten). Now whenever it gets done is on-time.

I find that what the mind and the eyes see is very different from what a coat of primer will show. Some times your a little shocked at what you thought was perfect now needs a little more TLC. Productive as always Spiros (@fiveten), a gift made by hand is always more personal and a fitting show of respect for another pilot. Looking good.
