Hi everyone! Got this from a friend this afternoon, it has to be finished by this Thursday...
Spiros@fiveten, good one, good luck, I couldn't build that quick !
Thanks my friend @kalamazoo!
Basic assembly, clearly to be treated as a limited run kit...
I second that, Allan @kalamazoo!
Great looking Mirage, Spiros @fiveten. The Greek airforce has some lovely schemes and a lot of times really weathered planes with all the low flying above the sea. You must be working on this day and night now 🙂
Thanks my friend @fxrob!
Some rigorous filling and sanding going on...
Final putty session, some bits to be added before heading to the paint shop...
Sanding commenced, landing gear on...
I've never considered building French jets in the past even though I like the looks of the delta winged Mirage. It's probably because I don't know much about them. But this makes two now that you've built lately (that I've seen anyway) and they are both beautiful aircraft. I'm afraid my stash might be growing a bit in size soon!
A great entry and already impressive progress in such a short time, Spiros @fiveten Pretty sure you will get it done by Thursday.
Thank you kindly, my friends @clipper and @johnb! It is said that Marcel Dassault, founder of Dassault Aviation, insisted that an aircraft had to be beautiful, in order to fly beautifully.
Underside silver applied...
He learned then. He was responsible for the Bloch 200 and 210. Nice work on this old kit.
