My dad´s next project
bought Quickboost resin seats with molded on seatbelts in the past
initially wanted to use Siam Scale decals, but realized, the schemes on this sheet all come with ejections seats, like the ones used in Skyraiders
therefore gonna use AOA decals, will do one of the two center schemes which have the normal seats

Glad you noted the instruction error at this stage already.

the model is a tailsitter, instructions suggest 25g noseweight
to be on the safe side, gonna add some more
2x7g with the lower fuselage part and 20g somewhere in front of the cockpit tub/instrument board

started to paint the resin seats (the rear part with the headrest is a kit part)

Great start on the seats.

I have to correct myself, the instructions aren´t wrong, show the exhausts to be installed in the right position, only the drawn shape of the fuselage halves is a bit misleading.
But as mentioned, the exhaust openings had to be cut out because they were completely closed with I guess flash, at least with this kit.

no real alignement help provided for the cockpit tub, but it moves more or less in the correct position automatically

yes, Roden kits are always troublesome.. 😀

the wing to fuselage joints will need some extra work to make them fit..

according to the instructions, the guns pods are in the same place like the fixed guns, realized that the pods are more outward in the position of the inner rack

besides that, the marked holes to drill were slightly different on each wing part, so filled all already drilled holes and made some new ones
