Thanks Pedro, I think this will be my first use of Eduard decals, a second coat of Pledge on now so we will soon see how they are !

Allan, from personal experience I found them thin and with good colour density. With some I had no trouble with moving them to the proper position in the model, with a few others not so.

Thanks Pedro, decals by Cartograf, they settle over details nicely applied with Pledge, the only trouble is with the edges curling under while getting them off the paper or moving them into position with the smaller ones, I'll leave the sharks teeth decals till last in case they try to bite me !

All the decals on now with a little touching up around the mouth and a few bits of dust sanded out, next the radiators on and an overall coat of Pledge !

It has been a while since I checked in on your Spitfire... and you have made some wonderful progress.

This is my favorite part of the build. It seems that during the decaling process is where you can really see firsthand how all of your hard work is coming together at the end.

A coat of Pledge followed by Vallejo matt varnish, most of the extra bits on, still needs the mirror and a bit of dirtying up, so pretty much finished !
