Saw this GB and thought I would jump in. I am doing a Spitfire MK. VC of the Royal Australian Airforce. My choice of A/C is Clive "Killer" Caldwell's Spitfire which he was flying out of Strauss Airfield, Australia in June, 1943. Caldwell was Australia's leading Ace of WW2.

Cockpit work. The kit comes with a PE set which includes the IP, harness and armour plate.

Thanks Lis. There was no headrest in Caldwell's Spit. Instructions said do not add this part.

    G’day David (@totalize),

    This is a great start.

I built two Eduard Mk VIIIs a couple of years ago (you can see them on this site) and they were so much fun I bought another pair off a friend and have the Mk I, Mk II and Mk Vb/c dual combos in the stash.

I also started a Special Hobby Mk Vc at the same time as the Mk VIIIs but messd up the cockpit and the rear cockpit/fuselage is too wide. I will get it done one day…

So, enjoy the build and I look forward to seeing it completed.

I’m sure it will be supurb, going by the P-38 you posted a while back.
