@fxrob Thank You! Usually Tamiya has nice detailed cockpit.

Work going on. Canopy was made in two pieces. Main body and right small window (depend on version with various shape). I wanted to paste it as best as I could, so that it was flush with the edge, but it stubbornly went in with the lower part a bit inside and there was no way to do it, even peeling off the entire fairing several times. I hope it will look at least acceptable in the end. Also I made masking of main gear bays.

I think the canopy will look perfect in the end, my friend @lis! Nice masking of the bays!

You might want to recheck those seam lines on the front lower engine cowlings, 'cuz they'll show up like the proverbial sore thumb with the aluminum paint job.

For sure it will look nice, Beranrd @lis.
The masking of those bays will help a lot.
Looking forward to the paint session.

@tcinla It looks better in real life, but I'll try to refine it.
Edit: after resanding left wing pop out, so I need to glue it second time. Left wing fits a little wrose than right. I hope I will not need some filler at the end. I’m curious how fits Airfix kit.

Always frustrating when parts break loose upon sanding, my friend @lis! Looking forward to your progress!

A pity this occured, Bernard @lis
Although better that it happened at this stage of the build. It would be a nightmare when everything was almost done.

After all night drying I can say that left wing fits much better. Minor gaps were gone. Luckily it was enough to slide the sash back onto the girders after applying extra thin glue
