Lis, the Mosquito being made of wood, it would be painted silver !

I think this paint is strange. Look on my Finder. I gave second coat of aluminium laquer after that I gently polished surface with sponge. I think chrome silver 2 that I painted hubs are similar. It is possible that I used aluminium paint first and last one.

Looking good from here, my friend @lis! Has the paint adhered well?

@fiveten The paint seemed to spread well. in the aurbrush it had a very nice homogeneous consistency. I've never had this brand of paint stay on my finger. I must admit that the surface looks decent, but as if there was too much pigment, which partly remains unbound. This has never happened to me with Mr Color brands. PS. Also I painted guns. At first I used vallejo gunmetal grey, but paint didn’t look good on silver surface of barrels. Finaly I used Mar black Mr Color, and weathered it by Tamiya weathering master set gunmetal.

Maybe the paint did not dry entirely yet, Bernard @lis
Both, surface and guns, do look great though.

@johnb I take that into account as well, but it should be noted that the paints from the Super Silver II line dry almost instantly, and maybe that's what I was suggesting. I'll wait for it to dry and apply a coat of clear.

    It can happen...
Nevertheless, the result is superb and the final clear coat will seal everything, my friend @lis!
