@stephen-w-towle @fxrob @kalamazoo Some places was hard to set decals. I used Mark Fit but decal was broken at the corner of the bulge (to much stress on decal in the bulge). I corrected this place with Hataka Roundel Blue acrylic paint (for special use). I always wonder if it's just me such things happen.

Yes, stuff happens and acrylic paint is a good solution. Buying a extra set of decals is hard on the wallet.

I have disaster. All my work go to hell. I need to sand for bare plastic and glue wing another time. Big dot of clear landed on finished work.

Take some Tamiya tape apply it around the offending area (along seam lines if possible) and sand, prime, paint and add clear. Your back in business. These things always happen as your about to cross the finish line. But , all is not lost.

Indeed, these things happen, my friend @lis! No big deal, do your remedial actions and you will be back in business at no time!

A pity this happened so close to the finish lines, Bernard @lis
At least it can be repaired but I can imagine your frustration.

the wing went to be repaired but the varnish under the mosquito emblem was damaged and all I have to do is use the spare emblem (thank God decals have a second emblem for a different painting). but frustration is running high. and insufficiency. maybe I need to do a second mosquito airfix? because my sheet happily predicts Mosquito PR.XVI RAAF in a beautiful PRU blue color.

Fortunetly I have another Mosquito decal. Under decal are some imperfections but I can’t repaint it better. There are more little imprefections on fuselae because sanding on finished model is extremally hard. But I do my best.
