Thanks my friend @gblair! The Hasegawa is what the Nichimo had dreamed to become, yet the Nichimo is an acceptable kit with some "highlights", like the (unexpected for a1972 kit) beautiful recessed external detail. Instructions need their time, as they are in Japanese with a spartan translated leaflet, some flash is present, cockpit is not lacking details but looks more toy-ish compared to the Hasegawa and so on. Yet, as every Nichimo kit, it has its particular charm 🙂

The interior color is indeed quite exceptional but great looking, Spiros @fiveten

Seats drilled out for realism, ammo magazines painted steel ..

    Thanks for stopping by!

Seats do indeed look much more realistic this way, Spiros @fiveten

    Cockpit and engine under preparation...

Actually there is A LOT of detail molded onto the sidewalls, the only drawback being that it is shallow. Quite impressive, truth be told.
    Thanks for stopping by!

Very nice progress, Spiros @fiveten. Nice solution to keep your instructions vertical and therefore more readable.

Thanks my friend @johnb! This is a stand that my beloved Parents had bought me when I went to primary school (that would be in 1972).
Oh yes: my "bench" is the small metal desk they bought me about the same time!
