    Fuselage closed, lower wing half attached, upper wing halves glued only at the root area, opting for a gap free joint, to be fully glued afterwards...

    Here are the wings fully glued (some flash to scrape away from the leading edges)...

    The root areas are gap free, thanks to the above trick, for which I will give credit to both my friends @lgardner and @tcinla.

    Thanks my friend @johnb! Indeed, a great trick! The wing halves locator pins typicallt have to be removed, in order to let the halves rest unstressed.
