    At this afternoon I made resin engines. I used new bronze-grey wash.

    @gblair

    The manufacturer did not foresee that you can use the engine and the engine cover at the same time. It was supposed to be this or that, and I did a combination of these elements, which cost me several hours of work and fitting.

    @kalamazoo

    kalamazoo great Catalina! Decals from Reed Roo? What pants did you use? Manual suggest midnight blue, ocean gray and night black. I want to make radar antennas under wings. How much lead did you use in the nose?

    Thanks capt. R, on the PBY4 is Humbrol 123, MM 35044 with MM 37038 under sides, decals are from spares on these two, Red Roo on PB2B-2. PBY5A has 33g of lead.

    Pre-shading looks great, Bernard (@lis). Sorry about the landing gear. I have had similar accidents myself, and they are very frustrating.

    Great looking Catalina, Allan (@kalamazoo). Conversion and markings really give it a distinctive appearance.

    A pity about the landing gear but with the conversion set all will be looking great in the end.
