Such great entry Spiros! Corsair si one of planes that I build as I was child. I hope I will build it in modern design πŸ™‚

Thanks my friends @johnb and @lis! The Tamiya Corsairs are quite good and this is true for their 1/72 kits.

The open cowl flaps do not look bad at all πŸ™‚

    Some more progress...

Legs are more complex looking in reality, with brake lines and a few "other stuff", like mini rods, tiny springs and the like. Will try to simulate a few...
    Thanks for stopping by!

You are not wasting any time with this build ! I just noticed it was a new thread you started, and here you are, ready for paint. QC1 and QC2 are much too efficient... πŸ˜‰

    It's looking great too.

Thanks my friend @lgardner! Yes, sometimes I desperately need a Tamiya modeling "mojo-boosting" kind of "break".

Thanks my friend @johnb! I was pretty good amazed by the "fiddly stuff" added around the Corsair's legs...

🧐...so busying-up the kit supplied ones is not a bad idea ☺️☺️☺️
