First attempt with US Navy Gloss white. Tail wheel was build with three separate parts. Tyre I need to free hand paint because there is no any mask for cyber hobby kit.

Next step is cowling. 5 parts to build include cooling flaps. Some sanding required. I think I prefer no so complicated cowling in one part without sanding.

Another multishape and multipart modul. I’m curious how it fits with wings. I painted main gear bays before final assembly of wings. Wings has options. Open or close.

Dry fit of fuel tank. Unfortunetly not perfect. I think I need to glue it before paiting and use some liquid putty.

Some liquid putty will definitely do the trick.
Which option will you choose, open or close?

I glued fuel tank. Is slightly tilted to the side. Drop fuel tanks have never been my strong suit. I don't know if it's a problem with the model or the assembly. the first frame also sticks to the hull despite the attempt to use liquid putty, it leaves a bit to be desired. Cowling I repainted and resanded two times. Also rescribed panel lines and make new rivets.

PS. I'm still debating what options to choose with wings.

Not the easiest droptank construction indeed, but looks good from here.
