I have great fun building this kit. Some extra parts was added, as metal gun@machine guns barrels, Aries resin kokpit, Ammo Mig rigging wire. I tried to keep the correct choice of colors like the black night engine cover. Decking under canopy is a dark gray color faded from the sun. Cockpit colour Nakajima cockpit Green. Main deep green is Nakajima Green C15. Correct propeller colour.

Thank you! If you have any questions for construction, I am happy to answer. I guess the canopy chipping didn't work out that well, but now I changed the technique and I hope it will be better in the next models.

Nice build Lis. What kit is it? As Spiros say, I too shall be interested in some "realtime in-progress" builds of yours. Please do share if you can - people are very friendly here on iModeler, so don't be shy 🙂

    This is Aries Resin Kit:

    https://web.ipmsusa3.org/content/a6m5-and-a6m5b-zero-cockpit-sets

The kit kit works fine, but requires some patience. I had to trim the cockpit panels a bit so that everything could safely lock into the fuselage.

    Lis, @lis
Welcome to our Empire of Japan group build. I like all of your builds ! They look very nice, and you have done a good job with them. If you are building anything Japanese in the future, please feel free to start a new build journal. That way you can post your progress, and we can all comment and learn from it together.

Thank you for posting. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I have in stock three zero fighters, Hayabusa fighter, and planned to buy B5N2. Hope to have a lot of fun building and demonstrating the models in the group here. 🙂 I love Japan aviation. Especially zero fighter. In school in early 90's I was playing in board game called Pacyfic's Hell.

Since then, aviation during the fighting in the Pacific has aroused my interest
