Thanks @airbum! Yep, research (see above) concluded at this green, which is sort of Nakajima green, hopefully not very far away from reality...! (I hope Koike Shigeo is - as usual -spot on at his artwork).
Glad my wife lent me her phone...believe it or not, the delivery services are choked, the delivery times having grown exponentially.

@fiveten - they say that green IS the future. . . (oh - sorry, could not help it) However it looks really great in the all-green top. Delivery is not really fast these days - I have awaited a few kits since the 6th this month now, and still no progress in track and trace. All good things come to those who waits, right?

Definitely agreed with you, @airbum! However a neighbor saved my day. He had a surplus brand new and very adequate (ok not Top Gun, but very good, and anyway better than my old one) cellphone. After a brief negotiation (he insisted to give it to me for free, I insisted to pay for it)...I got myself a new cellphone! No waiting, no delivery services agony, no worries! Isn't life wonderful?

By the way, green IS the future, but unfutured green's flamboyance will soon become past! (cannot help it either!).

    All the best, my friend!

Congrats with the new phone (I still use an old dumb-phone - one of these extra sturdy ones and mine has been on the paris-dakar run, so it should last a bit still)
Nice to see the progress here - looking forward to the masks coming off!

Underside gray applied. Actually the gray is a tad darker than what appears at the pic. Masks to come off tomorrow...

Yes exciting, isn't it indeed 🙂
Great display of the planform in the last picture, real 30'ies high-tech.

Thanks @airbum and @roofrat! Masks removed. Not looking that bad. Minimum touchups will be required.

This paint job looks the part, Spiros! Great work my friend! I'm sure your son likes it too!

Thanks Michael @michel-verschuere! Actually I struggled for both of them (the older one is 5...) not to examine the model all the time and play with it (hey sons, we got to start putting those decals on!). Well, they went to bed so...here is the first round of decalling, with Mr Mark Softer just applied. The decals, printed in 1998, took ages to come off their backing paper, but are workable with no surprises, conform well and haven't cracked so far. Mr Mark Softer takes care of them now...
