Looking good Spiros. Once the decals start going on the finish line isn't far off

Wow! Your smokin' your way through this group build. You realize if you get finished before quarantine termination you will be required to build another...
    Looking great Spiros!

Decalling session finished. Had some difficulty with the ones applied to spats, but would have done much easier should I have been more patient...Anyways, Mr Mark Softer will take care of them decals overnight.
Having loved the treatment Mr Mark Softer gives to the Hase decals, I decided to use the instrument decals. After a double treatment they conformed to the raised panel detail nicely.
    All the best! EoJ GB!

    Hi everyone!

Gave my Val a black wash to liven-up the monotonous underside gray. Assembled and fitted the centrerline bomb rack and also the wing bomb racks, that I had to modify their undersides to look realistic without bombs fitted. I rarely fit ordnance to my models, just the external tanks, the missile pylons and the bomb racks, Don't know why I do this, guess I am used to planes with this configuration. It also saves a lot of time nedded edfor assembling and painting those bombs, rockets, A/A and so on! Fitted also something that looks like a pitot tube and a radio antenna, painted black.

    All the best!

So, Spiros I usually tend to catch up on here at weekends - so much progress. She looks sensational! So clean - and the wash underneath looks spot on!

    Thanks @yellow10 and @airbum!

A little progress went on: some bits installed in the cockpit, which, I have to say, is very detailed indeed; some touchups to the upper green, gunsight and tail wheel painted, well, this and that...I also painted flat black the back of the engine, as there is some chink around the exhausts area, and also a window for the pilot to look down, I suppose. The Penlight Police will have a hard time here!

Tomorrow is hopefully chipping and weathering time!

    All the best!
