    Final masking. Next step overall painting. I decided to very complicated, overall cockpit masking because painting over masked canopy is, I think, very dangerous. It looks good on YT vid, but If I need to be very angry after problems, when silver paint will get in under glass-thank you. Not for me. It will be a nightmare. I hope all my work will be acceptable.

    Great progress, my friend @lis!
    Yes, painting with the canopy on might sometimes present issues, so do it as it suits you better!
    Love the PE made stuff and the X-35!

    @fiveten
    Overall aluminium painting. I think looks better than in Ki43, but still far from the intended ideal. Paint was Vallejo Metal Color Aluminium.

    @fiveten @airbum Thank You! I hope next model will be more perfect in painting than B5N2. I managed to avoid that amount of lint, but there are still a few, as well as a few bumps in the paint. Now I have a mystery, should I use decal and Internet painting scheme authorship of Ronald Percy from sth about 1965y, or should I paint the engine casing in anti-glare black? in conversations with my friend Rayan, we discussed how realistic it could be not to paint the engine housing, which must have been very impractical in operation. The painting pattern itself is based on the memories of Commander Fushida, who may have overlooked it or not attached importance to it, and when asked about the appearance of the plane, he could answer: "it was all in the color of aluminum except for the striped tail". Which could be a mental shortcut.

    That's a difficult decision, my friend @lis. I believe anti glare black is a good candidate...

    Yes, black anti glare is what I would choose, as well!
