@fivetenAll morning I spend my time on dry fitting canopy to fuselage. What I found:

Full closed canopy dont't fit well at all. There are some gaps, because it is minimally bent.

Partially open for gunner fit very well, but have some post production scratches on clear parts.

Full open canopy shows imperfections of connecting the fuselage.

So all options are not good at all.

I don't have idea for this moment.

If the gaps are such that fit is bad, you may consider going for an open canopy, @lis.
Are fuselage joint imperfections too bad? Can they be fixed?

@fiveten after final fitting fuselage there was open gap. I was putting it, sandind, and repainting, but surface wasn't smooth at all. Airfix did not do this item well. I didn't expect the problem to come out relatively late, during final fitting wings, as it didn't look too bad after the first match.

PS. I started masked partially open canopy.

@jmillan thank you! I wonder if from the point of view of aviation, the tilted wing rudders, which are proposed in the model as an option, make sense when parked at the airfield? The set includes two sets to choose from. In the photo the rudders are turned. But I don't glue it yet.

    Nice painting @lis!
I think the tilted wings were mostly used when the plane was on an aircraft carrier, to save space.
So, it's up to you! (i would glue them straight, I love their looks better!)
