    @fiveten i do something similar with bamboo skewers on large parts I use strong masking tape to hold the part. on smaller parts I use a product called “Fun Tac” a sticky putty thats holds the piece on the stick…works great. Then to dry I took an old coffee can filled it half way with rice and punched holes in the top….presto a drying stand 🙂

    Thought you might like to see my rigging stands. Made out of cardboard cartons, masking tape re-enforced and cut to fit the model. Stick it to the bench with "blue tac" and you have 2 hands free to rig your model.

    Another thing I found ,if the model is not steady enough all you do is "blu-tac" it to the cardboard box.
