    @chinesegeorge how about on compound curves, that where I have trouble and some of the decals are so old they break if touched I use Walther’s decal solvent which works well to a degree but still not perfect

    Hi Cricket @bikequeen, thanks for looking. I think you should use whatever works best for you. I currently find that my little finger, suitably lubricated with softener, water, or spit, works best for me as it’s easy to apply a very light pressure. You might try a Q-tip soaked in softener or warm water works as well. I think it’s important to keep the surface well wetted when trying to smooth out those wrinkles. I use Tamiya’s Mark Fit softener for availability here in China and consistency, if you use another manufacturer’s product then you don’t have much comeback if you have problems, but use whatever works for you.
