Thanks, Simon. I'm off on holiday for a couple of weeks now, so I won't be posting any more until I get back. With any luck I might find a model shop in Shanghai!.

OK, I'm back from holiday, I couldn't find a decent model shop in Shanghai, though. Here are a couple of pictures of the 916 before finally attaching the side cowlings. So, here's the left side with the tank and rear cowling,

and here's the right side

I've posted the final pictures in headlines today, hope you like them. Al, thanks again for starting this group. In answer to your question, I think I've settled in China now, and have no plans to return to the UK, although, naturally, there are some things I still miss, like model shops!
