Here goes my build of this little rally champ. Looks like a nice kit with some decent engine detail. Hope the decals work this time.

Superb, absolutely superb entry, my friend @anthonyricco! I LOVE the 131, made quite an impact upon its appearance in rallies.
    Looking forward to it!

Thanks @johnb and @fiveten - appreciate the excitement - a cool little car and yeah it did pretty well.

Some updates on the Fiat, most parts are painted up - starting to assemble everything now and work on the body, lovely little car.

Engine mostly in, going to do a bit of wiring in it now.

Great car, @anthonyricco, Italy’s answer to the Ford Escort, simple design, front engine, rear wheel drive, ah, those were the days. This looks like a great little kit which I’m sure will turn out fine in your hands. It’s in the classic Alitalia colours as well. Didn’t Tamiya do a kit of this as well, but for some weird reason it was in 1/20 scale?

Great car Anthony @anthonyricco. I have often looked at the kit, but never got around to acquiring one. I love all things Italian... cars, bikes, food, architecture, girls...LOL. The Alitalia livery is going to look great!

Thanks everyone, yes @chinesegeorge, there is a 1/20 one from Tamiya in the Oliofiat scheme - I'm not sure why they did them 1/20 - maybe to go with the racing cars.

Ah @Rory pity man we could have done a body build.

I built this kit about forty years ago (Where does the time go?). It's a good kit of a great subject in an equally great livery. You're off to a great start Anthony.
    Will you weather it?

Hi All lots of progress without any updates sorry so here comes a bunch of stuff.
I really didn't like the look of using the actual decal - not wet, just as paper for the belts so went an bought ribbon, it was unfortunately too thick, but after cutting it and wrangling the stray threads into place I think they came out nice.

Then onto the roll cage and a quick test fit.

    And then...

    Decals.

And much to my hearts dismay it all fell apart again. The decals cracked and dissolved badly, so I stopped and gave them a light clear coat, which helped a bit but they still kept breaking apart.
