    Great result on the interior, Brian @brithebuilder
    A pity about the missing vent, maybe you have something in your spare parts box which can be used.

    That is some very nice cockpit work, Brian @brithebuilder! 👍 Could you possibly recreate the missing vent with cardstock or similar; painted silver, it won't look too bad, methinks?

    @fiveten - Thanks Spiros!

    @johnb, @garybrantley - Thanks John, Thanks Gary... In the grand scheme of it all the missing vent is about par. From a little dry fit, that side is deep enough in the dash that it's almost completely invisible anyway. Once the shell is on and it's in shadow, it's truly a non issue.

    The decals for the dash were not as nice to work with as more modern decals from Tamiya. There's a pretty wide edge around the instrument making it a bit more challenging to get the decal to settle down into the raised plastic bezels on the dash. 4 or 5 coats of Micro Sol and a bit of mashing with a cotton bud and everything did settle in. On the plus side, the decals are tough and were able to be manipulated, without tearing, after several coats of Micro Sol.

    Steering wheel attached. I also found it odd that there was no decal at all for the steering wheel logo.

    Seems like the right way to go. Directions call for the same orange paint as the body... Clear orange over the aluminum wheels looks better IMO.

    Great progress, my friend @brithebuilder! Odd that there's no decal for the steering wheel. Clear orange on the rims looks great!

    This is looking really nice, Brian (@brithebuilder). The clear yellow looks great on the wheels. I might have missed it, but is the chrome on the wheels from the kit or did you remove the kit chrome and repaint?

    A bit more progress yesterday. One the rear wheels would not cooperate with the Firestone logo. There was a spare decal and I killed them both on the last wheel. Not going to sweat it... once the diorama is figured out, it'll be hidden.

    I do like the grey of the interior. The instrument panel is almost completely hidden below the dash. Unfortunate that the details are mostly obscured but it does make the missing vent a non issue.

    The door cutouts seem odd to me. I don't see them that way in any photos I can find. Regardless, I'll either paint the inside of the car body black or I'll attach a bit of blacked out sheet styrene to the door itself.

    You can see that there is only a bit of the engine/transmission that will be visible.

    Looking good, Brian @brithebuilder! 👍 I agree that the inner doors do look odd; coincidentally, among the few remaining parts of my old IMC GT kits is this inner door panel, which certainly looks different:

    @garybrantley - Hey Gary, definitely different. Your doors 'seem' to have too little detail compared to images online. Not a ton of stuff from the race cars interiors that I can actually find though.
